I rarely do covers of people’s writing as talking songs. Not publicly. This is a short piece of writing by Roberto Bolaño with a little four-string guitar, performed as one take, recorded on my phone. I’ve been slowly recording a Bolaño covers album and releasing the tracks on Patreon. Those won’t ever be made public; for many reasons. There’s also a Ray Carver covers record of mine on Patreon (stretched across months of posts) and a couple Mary Oliver pieces I recorded.
