In Almost Famous Kate Hudson talks about visiting a record store when you miss your friends. What she doesn’t mention is seeing your enemies’ work alongside your friends in the stacks. But that happens too. (I’m talking about both bookstores and record shops here. Maybe more the former than the latter.) In this newsletter I’ll say all sorts of things about my friends, but I won’t mention my enemies. They don’t deserve the space because they’re not good at what they do. They’re just good at being enemies. My friends are good at what they do. I’ll tell you all about them.
