It being Friday here’s a list of things that are going on with my friends.
-The Lawrence, KS Anarchist Bookfair is going down at the ECM on Saturday December 2nd. I’ll be there. Come say hi. Goes from noon to midnight. I’ll tell you more about that later.
-K Van Petten is playing a Joni Mitchell birthday celebration Nov 7th at Blue Moon Tavern in Seattle.
-I’m doing a raffle of my out-of-print and very hard to find first novel, Hymn California. Way it works is you make a donation to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, send me a screenshot, and you’re entered. I’ll randomly select who gets the book tonight around midnight. I think we’ve reside about $1000 so far.
-New Cult & Culture podcast features Chris Slorach of METZ.
-My friend Dakota Floyd is heading out on tour with New Junk City. The San Diego show is tomorrow at the Print Shop.
-Mallory Smart has a new book coming out on Jon Nix’s With an X Books. Preorder I Keep My Visions to Myself.
-My friend Laurence Lillvik’s epic poem Criterion is coming out as a chapbook on Greying Ghost Press. Laurence is also doing a raffle for Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. Find details on Instagram at
-My friend Marty Hillard from Ebony Tusks wrote something really powerful about the Palestinian genocide, white supremacy, and extremism.
-My new book, I Wish to Say Lovely Things, is now available at the Three One G shop. It has overseas distribution through DeathWishInc; if you’re not in the US consider taking that route. The book is out 2/14/24. Note: Copies purchased at my shop will ship early (approx Nov 25th).

-Learned about this one from the pals at AK Press. There will be a teach-in and discussion today at 7pm concerning freeing Palestinian political prisoners at the May Day Space in Bushwick.
-My audio book label released its first bilingual tape last Friday. I am a vending machine of stupid thoughts or Soy una máquina expendedora de pensamientos estúpidos has English on one side, Spanish on the other, by Argentine author Marina Caamaño. Get a copy here.

-Deaf Club is headlining the Chaos for Christmas festival December 1st. The fest benefits The Outreach Center, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, AVConservancy, and Palmdale Saves. Happens at Transplants Brewing Company in Palmdale.
