I made a friend in the gym locker room today (I was there to take a shower because our water system froze). She saw me and said “you look like an awesome person!” and we chatted for a little bit and then she said “sorry if I was weird” and I said “naw, weirdos are the best” and she beamed and said “yes we are.”
Our weird friendship broke the gym. I showed up yesterday to shower and the pipes had busted and the place flooded; all the equipment was being moved to the parking lot. Poor little gym is probably down for the count. I hope my friend is ok, and I hope this wacko cold snap passes and our water system thaws and I can get in some water again soon, which is my favorite cure.
