Hard, steady work on the book’s ending chapters all morning and afternoon while sitting outside under a large red parasol. The book is a very short novel (40,000 words) called Your Friends Will Carry You Home. It takes place in England last summer and it’s about friendship and the world going to shit. It’s the final book in the quartet that began with After Tonight, Everything Will Be Different (2022), The Internet Newspaper (2023), and I Wish to Say Lovely Things (2024), and it’ll be out in January of 2025 via Three One G and Bread & Roses Press.
It's good to have a friend, when the world is going to shit.
